Marketing Specialist

 This role goes beyond day-to-day work - you’ll help shape and execute marketing strategies, oversee campaign progress, and ensure everything stays aligned with client goals and timelines. Working side by side with our Creative Director, you’ll play a key role in keeping projects on track while also contributing creative ideas that drive results.

 

Location: Gloversville, NY (Hybrid - remote with in-office work as needed)

Hours: 10-20 hours per week (flexible schedule) with opportunity for more

Compensation: $30-$38/hour, based on experience


Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with our Creative Director on strategy development for campaigns and initiatives.
  • Oversee campaign execution, ensuring deliverables stay on focus, on brand, and on schedule.
  • Develop and maintain an organized social media content calendar across multiple platforms.
  • Write an edit engaging content for social media and marketing materials.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and occasional client meetings.
  • Provide guidance to support team members to ensure consistency.
  • Track project deadlines and deliverables, maintaining clear communication with the team.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital and print platforms.


Qualifications:


  • 3+ years experience in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of campaign development, messaging, and audience engagement.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with branding and visual identity principles.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and timelines.
  • Comfortable collaborating and interacting professionally with clients.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative, and work independently.


Bonus Skills:


  • Experience with nonprofits
  • Basic video editing abilities
  • Capital Campaign & fundraising experience
